3rd Test vs Eng: 3-83, 40, 3-67
1st Test vs Zim: 1-58, 257*, 0-16
2nd Test vs Zim: 6-48, 35, 4-58
332 runs @ 166 and 17 wickets @ 19.41
Wow so he was 8 runs short of hitting 3 double centuries in three consecutive tests? Jheeeze
Didn't look like anything could stop him at the time tbh. Argument in favour of DRS?he would've got there had the umpire........
O yeah, his relationship with the then Aussie captain didn't help either!I'd tell you how he got on continuing that run - if he'd ever been picked to play for Australia again.
Thank ****!it used to be on, but the user had to remove it due to copyright stuff.![]()
Saved me a job. Just opened cricinfo to find these figures. I think they are brilliant stats, to combine both. Scored 72 & 8, and 5-72 in the following Test as wellI guess Flintoff 2005 is worth a mention
Edgbaston 68 + 73, 3-52 + 4-79
Old Trafford 46 + 4, 1-65 + 4-71
Trent Bridge102 + 26, 1-54 + 2-83
319 runs avge 53.16 and 15 wickets avge 26.93
I know the stats aren't brilliant but they were against one of the greatest sides ever seen and were the main reason England recorded 2 victories and were only denied by the weather in the other game.
Ravi Belowpara.Ravi Bopara has it both ways:
v Sri Lanka 2007:
34 & 8
0
0 & 0
v West Indies 2009:
104
143
108
ha found it on veoh but when I tried posting it the link gets censored out.Thank ****!![]()
242 runs against a minnow is too many for that to count for muchJonathon Trott
184 v Pakistan Lord's
29 & 135* v Australia Brisbane
78 v Australia Adelaide
426 runs at an average of 142 is not to be sniffed at.
If ever a dodgy pitch favoured a bowler it was the one prepared for the second game37 wickets @ 7.86
I have picked Laker in my scorecard draft team. This stat is unbeatable. Vote for me, everyone.
