Waiting for Somerset's pick.I'm hitting bed in 10 minutes,and if he doesn't make his pick in those 10 minutes then i'll make mine tomorrow,around 20 odd hours from now.I don't have Internet access at work so i can only use it when i get home.

Just thought i'd let everyone know in advance so you don't wet your pants after 12 hours.

This is where I hate this sort of thing. Salman being screwed because he's waiting for someone else. IMO in this sort of situation the clock should reset when the next poster posts.

Either that or Weldone should have to pick from Marcuss' card (since the the 2nd lot of 12 hours had ended) - can't have it both ways.

Somerset's time was up 12 hours after Marcuss picked, and salman could pick from Marcuss' scorecard starting from that time (so, salman's time started).

However, even 12 more hours passed since that time (when Somerset's time was up)...so, even salman's time was up by then...

I don't understand how there can be any confusion in this...

salman didn't miss his turn 'because' he was waiting for Somerset.

He got exactly 12 hours after Somerset missed his turn (which was 12 hours after Marcuss picked Lloyd).

Answer my simple question.

Suppose Somerset came back after his 12 hours had passed (but not salman's 12 hours) and picked a player.

Now, salman comes ... whose scorecard would he proceed with? Marcuss'? Or, Somerset's?

We have surely come across such situations in other drafts...

There's no confusion on my part. You CANNOT pick from Somerset's card until 12 hours after Somerset's pick.

Regardless of if you want Roberts or not, it's tough ****.

Unless we're saying that seeing as nobody has picked out of turn, Salman gets 12 hours from Somerset's pick. If these 12 hours elapse then weldone can pick from Somerset's scorecard.
Those are the two scenarios. weldone can't pick Roberts now
