One-hundred point defeats are understandable when inflicted upon the Gold Coast and, potentially, Greater Western Sydney because those teams are selling a future. North will not like this but it was impossible to avoid the conclusion that its future might not lie in Victoria.
We've signed a deal to play a couple of games in Tassie over the next few years. That's the favourite location of the relocationists at the moment. Now entirely new teams/franchises (delete according to personal bias) have been created for the Gold Coast and "Greater Western Sydney" where would the Roos be shunted to?
Also, with a draft system that "rewards" low finishes, how does money spent on "football development" translate into on-field success with a sport that has a salary cap?
Seems an odd article based on a premise that's a stretch at best.
It's the only option left on the table now but that means nothing. All the expansion areas are represented and no team is going to be allowed to fold for at least the life of this TV rights deal (and in reality, probably beyond that too). We've signed a deal to play a couple of games in Tassie over the next few years. Haha **** she's a bad journo. Really bad.Cowro at it again
Lose by 100+ ---> have to relocate. Nice conclusions the week after your own team loses by 100+, Richmond to Darwin?

They should be in quadruple digits. It's the only option left on the table now but that means nothing. All the expansion areas are represented and no team is going to be allowed to fold for at least the life of this TV rights deal (and in reality, probably beyond that too).
And the big difference is that the AFL seems to be mainly interested in growing viewership of the AFL rather than national representation. So funnily enough, the fact that there is already such a good following in Tasmania means there's no need for a team to actually set up shop there (and ironically, will probably stop them getting a team for a very long time).
CassonBet odds for the Kangas going anywhere in the next 5 years are in double digits.
.....You've just figured that out now? She was calling for them to get to the GC before the Brayshaw's even took power iircCaro has a serious vendetta against North. Thought it was just Brayshaw but its going further than that now.
Was a thing of beauty. Also found out we were 23 points up in the third quarter and lost by 6 goals or something. Brutal.
Glad I was out of the country when we lost to Essendon, yet in the country when we won. Planned it to perfection
You can disagree with that viewpoint, but that isn't a sign of having a vendetta against a club. It's been in turbo mode the last two years though, taking pot shots whenever she can......You've just figured that out now?
