Hawthorn had more clearences than Collingwod last week 10 more hitouts too and then North did again today also had quite a few more hitouts even though getting pumped by 100 points, whats the story with Collingwoods clearance work?

I've been seriously against saying West Coast will make 4 as I never really thought they actually possess the side to do it, but going through each match and picking them changed it for me, their run home isn't bad, strong chance to pip Carlton to it.

Freo have an awful run home. May be a slight bias with Essendon there but a spot in the 8 is their spot to lose really.

Cowro at it again

One-hundred point defeats are understandable when inflicted upon the Gold Coast and, potentially, Greater Western Sydney because those teams are selling a future. North will not like this but it was impossible to avoid the conclusion that its future might not lie in Victoria.

Lose by 100+ ---> have to relocate. Nice conclusions the week after your own team loses by 100+, Richmond to Darwin?

Now entirely new teams/franchises (delete according to personal bias) have been created for the Gold Coast and "Greater Western Sydney" where would the Roos be shunted to?

Also, with a draft system that "rewards" low finishes, how does money spent on "football development" translate into on-field success with a sport that has a salary cap?

Seems an odd article based on a premise that's a stretch at best.

We've signed a deal to play a couple of games in Tassie over the next few years. That's the favourite location of the relocationists at the moment.

Football department spending would include a whole lot of things like coaching, recruitment, medical personnel and treatment, having your own reserves side so the players in the ressies are playing to your structures etc.

It's the only option left on the table now but that means nothing. All the expansion areas are represented and no team is going to be allowed to fold for at least the life of this TV rights deal (and in reality, probably beyond that too).

And the big difference is that the AFL seems to be mainly interested in growing viewership of the AFL rather than national representation. So funnily enough, the fact that there is already such a good following in Tasmania means there's no need for a team to actually set up shop there (and ironically, will probably stop them getting a team for a very long time).

CassonBet odds for the Kangas going anywhere in the next 5 years are in double digits.

They should be in quadruple digits.

Caro has a serious vendetta against North. Thought it was just Brayshaw but its going further than that now.

Also found out we were 23 points up in the third quarter and lost by 6 goals or something. Brutal.

Glad I was out of the country when we lost to Essendon, yet in the country when we won. Planned it to perfection

.....You've just figured that out now? She was calling for them to get to the GC before the Brayshaw's even took power iirc

You can disagree with that viewpoint, but that isn't a sign of having a vendetta against a club. It's been in turbo mode the last two years though, taking pot shots whenever she can.
