Surely Praveen has to be a better option than Raina's straight breaks?
He can bowl reverse swing but there hardly has been any in this match for any of the bowlers.Yeah, there's Zaheer. Cevno keeps telling us that Praveen can bowl reverse but while I'm a big Praveen fan, I'm yet to see it. I've said before that I think that's really the key for India's pace stocks - all the big domestic performers seem to be written off for their lack of pace, but Zaheer of late has operated at some extremely meager speeds for some of his best bowling - the key is that he can move the ball at any age. If any of the 120km/hr trundlers who top the domestic bowling charts can bowl both conventional and reverse swing they are more than worth a go.
I wish he would, but he won't. Maybe if India don't lose a wicket for the first 20 overs, but with the openers we have, that's not gonna happen.Go for it, Dhoni. 180 runs in ~50 overs. Play like a #1 team.
IMO he should, especially if there's even the hint of rain. Reduces our chances of getting bowled out if we lose time to rain.Dhoni isn't going to go for it.
Yea, but he won't. It's not his captaincy style.IMO he should
Yeah Agree.Vijay should go for his shots, honestly he has absolutely nothing to lose. He hasn't done anything on this tour and even if he can smash a few boundaries (perhaps target Edwards who might be feeling a bit tired after his long innings). And even if he gets out we always have Rahul "The Wall" Dravid to come next anyways.
Yeah, 79-6 would be a lot better.**** YES. They better play positively, don't want to be 100-5 at tea or something.
The sun was out ,tbf
Haha, how about now?Theres no way he won't go for the win..it's just a bit less than 4 per over required.
