*Official* - India in West Indies

Is there anyone at all in India who can bowl reverse swinging yorkers to tailenders? Though Zaheer would have probably come in handy in this situation if we had had him.
Yeah, there's Zaheer. Cevno keeps telling us that Praveen can bowl reverse but while I'm a big Praveen fan, I'm yet to see it. I've said before that I think that's really the key for India's pace stocks - all the big domestic performers seem to be written off for their lack of pace, but Zaheer of late has operated at some extremely meager speeds for some of his best bowling - the key is that he can move the ball at any age. If any of the 120km/hr trundlers who top the domestic bowling charts can bowl both conventional and reverse swing they are more than worth a go.

Silly mid off woulda been handy there, eh?

If Ishant is gonna bowl short from around the wicket it's surely more likely to pop up there than to short leg?

& what a response from Edwards. Interesting shot from a #10 batting to save a game.

This isn't the first or even second time Fidel has played an innings like this. He's awesome in these situations; he'd be right up there with those I'd want to bat to save a game for my life.
Yeah. While admiring Chanderpaul, it is easy to forget what a fine innings Fidel has played.

West Indies certainly do not deserve to lose this game. First they bowled with great heart though they were a man down. And now while batting, they have refused to give up - despite some morale sapping umpiring decisions which went against them.

Agree. Not too many bowlers in world cricket have complete control over the art of conventional and reverse swing though, so it's a tough ask.

Yeah, Windies have shown fantastic character in this game. Edwards keeps impressing, he's had a hell of a series.

Ishant's been very poor this innings, particularly today. Lacked any kind of plan of attack to lower-order batsmen. Just keeps bunging it half-way down the pitch, so dire.

LOL, what a way to pick up a wicket. Was the only way it was ever going to come. Half hoping for another 50-run partnership between Chanders and Bishoo here, the total has already reached very tricky proportions.

Yeah, if Sehwag had been there, I would have given India a real chance, can't see it with Dravid likely to come in in the 3rd over or whenever Vijay gets out.
