**Official** Sri Lanka in England / Scotland - 2011

Somebody in England management must realy think KP is the chosen one.

Last ODI century was 2008, and in his 30 knocks since then his average is 23 with 2 x 50's.

Almost makes you wonder if we should put Bell at 3 and bring back Ravi.
Glad you qualified that with "almost". Taylor or (my choice) Hales to be given a shot before, surely?

Jos Buttler back in the runs now too.

These two making it look comfortable without making the pitch look a road - which is what the score suggests.

ED:  Botham. Not the brightest bulb in the store, is he?

Double your score from the 30 over mark?
Possibly. No PP, but considering England's record, that might not be a bad thing at all.

Even if they don't, they're well on track for a massive score considering the pitch, outfield, weather etc.

Wish the commentators would stop talking about ****ing football just because the ground shares its name with a certain football club's ground. :ranting:

Depends on Morgan really if he scores big, anythings possible, Bell is in next so he'll slow the scoring down with about a 45 ball 30. Hope Samit can give a boost to the innings, but a lot of pressure on him, just being picked for this decider.

Only one boundary for Morgan in his 50 but really good batting, none the less.
There's the second, lovely shot.

When you get to 200 with only 3 down in the 35th, you should be looking some way past 300.
I guess. But these two are going at five and a bit an over, which would take us to 280. Obviously they'll want to accelerate, so it's a question of how successfully they do that. I still don't think they'll double the score of 177 after 30 overs, but point taken that 300 would be disappointing from where we are now. tbh I hadn't looked at the score too closely with my previous post.

Enjoy seeing cricket at Old Trafford as it's a great old ground. Personally think it the scene of Steve Waugh's greatest moment.

But tbh it looks rank village as a venue ATM. Not souch the pitch bit the outfield.

Morgan gone.
