God forbid they apply a bit of common sense to improve the chances of a result.
Anyway, I'd say it wasn't the greatest of days for India even though they're in a good position here. Some incredibly sloppy dismissals in the middle session. Mukund, Kohli, Laxman and Raina could really have cashed in against an attack with a bowler short.. only Raina got out to a quality delivery. Should look to bat one more session tomorrow.
Today's predicament of the WI strengthens the thinking that the #6 should be chosen with a view to all-round capabilities (unless you have a couple of folks in 1-5 who can turn their arm).
If your WK is a good batsman, then promote him to 6 and go with 5 bowlers or a "utility" player.
In the Indian context, this gives an advantage to Yuvraj and Raina, and is a concern with Badri and Pujara - especially if Sehwag is not playing.
