Right, get a single Kiessy.

Edit: Or do that!

Edit2: Block out the rest of the over and ask Cooky to hit a six!

I think England just rammed home the point about personal milestones.
Crushing win, brilliant all round and a great way to come back from a lose.

Brumbers high ground has been taken, I'd have preferred the ton myself.

Well done lads, about as comprehensive as it gets.:)

Game on.

There's no way Kieswetter would slow for Cook's hundred after Cook was critical of Mathews. Wouldn't be surprised if Cook told him to go for it to prove a point.

Thumping win by England. SL just do not turn up unless the sun does.

Brilliant innings by both openers. :clapping:

When Alastair Cook mentioned the cricketing gods, I feel he may have been referring to himself..:-O Great performance.

Cook 95*. Taking the high ground, fair enough. He'll have loads of tons at Trent Bridge by the time he retires anyway.

Curb stomp of a win. Not quite revenge for the quarter final but it shows just what we can do in our own backyard really.

Series 2-2. You never know, there might end up being a good match next time, and it'll all seem worth it.

if you discount the significance of the that being a QF, this was far more humiliating. Sri lanka failed to show up at all. I thought i t was the pitch at first but i was wrong. We sucked.
