**Official** Sri Lanka in England / Scotland - 2011

He didn't want gloves. The team wanted him to get gloves plus send out a message. Also it looked to me like most of KP's finger wagging and rants were aimed at Chandimal (for some mysterious reason).
Eh? it's the team that wanted him to have gloves and a message, wasn't there a bat change in there as well? Which ever way it was, it was all going on at the same time, it's just my opinion, that's what the problem was. Much to do about nothing, at the end of the day.

Can some explain to me how England are favourites with the bookies today?
Because:

- Dilshan will be caught at third man early on.
- Mahela has to get out of form sometime during any given series.
- Chandimal will get himself out after hostile stuff from England.
- Sanga will be over emotional after his speech and in a flood of tears will retire "hurt".
- Kandamby will prove that his presense in the side is still a mystery.
- Mathews will continue to bat out maidens and get run out by a team mate.
- Jeevan Mendis will be the only good bowler but will fail to impress with the bat.
- Kulasekara will get taken apart in the death overs and revert to bowling spin.
- Lakmal will deliver the ball quickly and will likewise find the fence quickly.
- Randiv will bowl economically but will bowl wides during key moments.
- Malinga will not turn up to play as a nearby zoo has claimed him.

Given that they only have to announce the teams at the toss, does that mean that the more overs we lose to rain, the less chance of Trott or Cook playing?

Really want it reduced to a T20 just to find out. :p

Oooh, now things get interesting. Surprised Mahela played at that, loose shot.

E: Very loose shot. Way outside his body.
