Yeah those John Bull types like Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara need to wind their necks in, eh?
while I don't agree with their criticism, they've the right to do it as team seniors. they can say the win could've been slightly more convincing.

cook's whining is equivalent to the dutch coach complaining about spain's score line in the world cup football final.

Not really given Germany weren't playing.

Anyway, can someone link to me to these whinges from Cook? Not heard any

The quote I found from Cook was, after having been asked about it:

It was different, I've never seen that before. They were perfectly entitled to do it if they want but it was a bit strange.
Seriously laughing at Bun bringing this up as "whinges" while defending Dhoni's comments. Why should we care, again?

That....is not a whinge. It WAS strange. Surely no-one would dispute that?

Jesus Christ Bun. When you go off on one without any evidence I feel like I'm in the cruciatus curse.

He did also say "the cricketing gods may look on that in disgust" or something like that. Having said that (as I said on twitter), it was clearly a straight response to a direct presser question so I don't have any issues with it.

KP, though, a bit lol.

Fair enough. Still hardly a whinge though. Bun just hamming it up.

As I've said, I was out for the last 25 overs of the game so I never saw KP's reaction.

Does anyone have any quotes by Dilshan on this incident? I'd like to hear his defend this after the way he actively denied Sehwag a century in that One dayer last year.
