**Official** Sri Lanka in England / Scotland - 2011

Lakmal undoes Bell with his extra pace & bounce, one notes, smugly.

Horrible innings from Bell tho. Our lack of a batting all-rounder hurting us here. I suspect it's why we stuck with Wright for so long after it'd ceased to be funny.

I see Sri Lanka are using the Boycott scenario with Cook. Keep him out there as he can't hurt you in the final overs?

This is hilarious and absurd. Never have there been so many wild heaves sliced right into gaps in the field.

Trouble with Wright is that he does good things for his county, then the selectors pick him again and he plays like a deflated balloon for his country.

Ian Bell just doesn't seem to know what to do in short formats and he's played so many of them. It's very odd.

It's such a damning indictment when someone scores a ton and you come away thinking that maybe they shouldn't have played.
Interesting stat: Cook's hundred came off 127 balls.

Mahela's was off 118.

He is the last of the recognised batsmen I would criticise today.

Cook. :notworthy

His form and temperament are truly immense right now.

And his hunger for runs is, dare I say, Tendulkar-esque.

EDIT : Run out now.
