If only there was some way look at it again, slowed down, with the path of the ball calculated beyond the point of impact as if the pad wasn't there at all. Then we might be able to reduce the errors people make when looking at such things in real time at full speed with a pad in the way.

Sreesanth, Zaheer and Munaf were all injured/rested. Would've gone Pankaj for the tour myself but I wasn't shocked by Mithun's selection at all; he definitely looks better than Unadkat anyway, even though I think he's near enough to proper gash as well.
Unless you're meaning that you were surprised he was picked ahead of Mishra for this match...

Yes solid pitch, but most wickets have resulted from poor/inexperienced batting.

Vinay Kumar,imo. Has a much better record for the same state too.
Not that i rate him very highly, they took Umesh Yadav to South Africa too ,and having not played him there, really there was not much basis since then to drop him and pick Mithun over him. (And i would say Yadav is better than him as well)
Pankaj Singh as you said would have been my choice too ,but don't think he was in the fray for some reason.

Is that urge to go around in circles all over again all that irrepressible? And if it is, is is too much to request you to do your stuff in one of those threads dedicated for going round and round over and over again, instead of the match thread?
