Cremer's injured. Will probably be back for the next game I'd say given he was only completely ruled out of this one yesterday. Williams is the biggest omission though.

cremer is injured and has been ruled out of the 50 over games he'll probably be back for the four day games. ya the squad is almost full strength except for a few selection mistakes. forster mutizwa, where did he even come from! where's tatenda taibu? and chakabva oh my goodness! what zim need is a reliable middle order batsman and they don't have one at the moment.

Mutizwa was a pretty good pick IMO. Taibu in for Chakabva and it's pretty much exactly what I would've picked, assuming that Williams is unavailable playing league cricket in England which often seems to the case around this time of year.

Williams has left Zimbabwe and is now living in South Africa playing hockey. Sean's dad, Colin lives in the Republic. Williams left after having another dispute with Zim cricket over money. Sad to see Sean go, after Hamilton and Taylor he is their best batsman.

Kyle Jarvis is in the UK playing seconds cricket for Essex. He should be back for the FC games against Aus. Zim could do with some extra pace in their attack, though surprised to see Price get some tap. Can't recall the last time he went for 50 in a one day game.

Aus take on RSA A today. Should be a good game.

didn't know Williams had a dispute with Zim Cricket. it's going to be hard for Zim to find a replacement. Jarvis will be available for the four dayers.

Australia 'A' struggling ATM. Looking a tall ask to even score 200, unless Butterworth/Hastings bats well in the remaining overs.

Interesting that Ontong is playing for South Africa 'A'. He looked a terrible cricketer early on in his career, and I would be interested to know if he has improved as he matured (he is now 31, hard to see him forging an international career from here).

i'm at Harare Sports Club and this bloke Hastings can hit a cricket ball. he smashed one big six just now, but Aus are in trouble.

i like how the man coming in at 8 has a better batting record than the man at 5 #JustinOntongis****ing****

Interesting. Twice now it looks like we'll win by an enormous margin despite a seemingly below-par total.

We don't really know how the pitches are playing tbf.
I read on another forum that it was playing slow and low but then another user said that normally HSG is better to bat on for the second innings.

So our boys must be bowling very well.

Big John Wayne is having a good time.
