*Official* - India in West Indies

Borges

International Regular
Dravid, Laxman, Tendulkar and co should play as long as possible since the youngsters are very over-rated.
Dravid? Weren't you the one who was repeatedly screaming at the top of your voice for Dravid's head till a week or so ago? Or was it someone else?

The youngsters may or may not be very over-rated, but this is very good bowling, on a helpful track. Take nothing away from the West Indian bowlers; most batting lineups in the world would have been severely tested.

This match so far has decreased his average by 5 runs. 40.89 to 35.50.:-O
tbf he had a shocking start to his test career - one which members thought he'd never recover from - so his average hasn't reflected his performances this year

Averages 19 in 2011.
Indeed. I should have said 'overall career' average doesn't reflect his performances this year.
He has been bowling such a good line and a length consistently - His much improved fitness has undoubtedly helped too

Holy **** yeah, his average in his first five matches (3 vs Aus, 2 vs SA) was 110. Since 2011 in his last four matches (incl. this match) is 19

Yeah, Kohli's dismissal was poor. If he fails again in the 2nd innings and India lose the game, then Badri should probably get a go. I'd be itching to replace Mukund and Vijay also, but sadly there aren't any alternatives.

Vijay looked pretty bad as well I thought. Although he stuck it out for quite a while he never looked settled nor far from getting out

Where does Badri play in FC cricket? 4? 5? Has he ever played as an opener?

Tbf it was some quality bowling and tough out there, can't blame Vijay for grinding it out for 70 odd balls.

It was a very frustrating innings... if you're gonna use up 12 and a half overs worth of deliveries to make only 11...

Pankaj Dharmani and Dhiraj Jadhav (WAG) always did well for me in ICC.
Just sayin'.

Middle-order.. hasn't opened to the best of my knowledge, and asking him to bat in an unfamiliar position in international cricket would be unfair on him anyway.

LOL... it's hard to escape the feeling that the domestic averages are probably flattering some of the young Indian batsmen.
