Why the hell do England bowlers bowl so many leg side wides? Both Woakes and Derbach started their overs with one.

Poor discipline.

That first ball off Dirtbag came off something made a noise.
Jesus what have they opened with Woakes for, friendly bowling to say the least.

Jesus, what an utter shamples this team looks and is.

EDIT: Bopara can't bat and can't field, and won't be chosen to bowl probably. What a passenger.

Hope he proves me wrong, but I still don't see Woakes as an international bowler.

Dernbach showing encouraging signs tho and a good stop on the boundary off his skipper there too.

Yes, I think Denbach defo has something about him but Woakes isn't a international bowler, especially limited overs cricket.

I think you are being harsh on Woakes, T20 is his weakest format with the ball, even his domestic record is poor. Its another case of us selecting players for teh wrong format tbh

I'll let you call it, but people were saying similar things about Bresnan a year ago or less. Woakes has a senstational FC record
He's a very English sort of bowler, he'll nibble it around on a length and have a very good FC county career (like Lewis, in fact) but unless he adds some pace he'll be fodder against better batsmen on less responsive decks.

As I said, I hope I'm wrong because he seems a lovely lad, but I can't see it.

How can Wright be in the team just as a batsman, if he wasn't going to bowl, should have played Bell instead.
It all just seems, a not very well thought out team selection.

Would have tuned it if I'd known this was going on. He'll play the ODI's, right?
