He shouldn't be in the team over guys like Badrinath. And you don't ever rest players for a TEST MATCH (perhaps Bangla test matches excluded). It's ridiculous. You want to get more rest Sachin? Go **** yourself. Retire and you'll have as much rest as you want.
Wtf?

Get Badri to open ahead of a Specialist opener?

So is this Bishoo guy a test-class bowler? This is the first I have seen of him. Obviously two huge wickets off decent balls but two fairly loose shots as well.
Looks pure quality to me. If my choice of adjective be excused, the way he rips the ball looks orgasmic.

Saw him throughout the Pak ODI and test series and the guy was consistent. Has a good flipper that he uses judiciously. What I love most about his game is his out-and-out attack policy. Pitching it up, inviting them to drive and dismissing them.

As I speak, MSD goes to Bishoo..WAFG!

It would be great if the Windies could produce a quality spinner. The first since Lance Gibbs I would imagine.

Just a reminder to People -

The Indian first choice lineup also has collapsed in the past including at home to SA recently and also on the first test on tours many times. Including South Africa and Australia.

FFS they collapsed even worse against Newzealand and Chris Martin of all people to be rescued ultimately by Harbhajan Singh making 2 centuries.

The game is not over yet.So give the new guys a break.

They are just following the same pattern of India struggling in the first test of a series that has been going on for a while now:p.

The arrogance I speak of is not the policy of resting players. It's this attitude of not having practice matches that I find appalling. Almost as if to say, "We're the no. 1 team. Don't need any practice to beat the others."

Wasn't any different in Centurion, was it?

Thought Indians could play spin?
Haha apparently not without Sachin & Sehwag. This is good bowling more than bad batting but still it's pretty hilarious to send the "B" team - and not play practice matches - and then get owned. You know, because their last series here where they squeezed out a 1-0 win in the last test was so emphatic.
