**Official** Sri Lanka in England / Scotland - 2011

Yeah, they had them on yesterday.

Just need to get Sangakarra quickly, then surely we're sorted.
Don't think you can assume Prasanna is a walking wicket any more though. Mind you if England bowl as well as they did for most of yesterday or better I think they should clean up fairly quickly.

Yeah, true. :) I just feel that with Sanga gone and hopefully the night watchman out, Sri Lanka will be 5 down and the pressure will tell.

Quite happy with the way Thirimanne batted this innings. Very promising.
Technically, he's a very good player IMO

At home,SL looks like it will have a very strong batting lineup for a few years to come

Unfortunately, their bowling really is tripe

Reckon we'll get the wickets but not have time for the chase.

If there is a tight chase, should we open with Strauss and Cook? Maybe send Bell in given his form.

Agreed, specially with regards to the pace options. None of the pacemen really standing out although Welegedara looked reasonable this series. We are clearly lacking a spearhead like Vaas or Malinga.

Not too worried about the spinners though. Herath is not really much of a wicket taker and Mendis is rubbish but Randiv and Senanayaka look really good prospects.

Not the best start. Tremlett drifting onto leg a bit too often.

EDIT: Speaking of bad starts...

Hope this is the day that Sanga stands up

Most people, including the commentators, seem to have forgotten that he is one of the 3 or 4 best players in the world and easily the best batsman on either side

Herath doing a good job as well. My prediction from yesterday looking good, that early drop by Strauss/Swann could prove costly.
