Figured that this is the most active thread so I'm most likely to get a response here...

Did anyone manage to save on to their computer the two hour Test Match Special which investigated depression in cricket. I cannot believe I missed it and would love to give it a listen.
You can download it on the TMS podcast feed.

Has a lower average than half the pace attack tbh.
Yeah and the fact that he isn't dire makes SL's decision to play 5 bowlers all the more baffling. If Dilshan was in the XI he looks a perfectly serviceable sixth bowler.

Samaraweera bowls a bit too, doesn't he?

Yeah, but he seems to have given it away a bit in the longer format.

It's still 100 runs from the session, so we're still in this. Hopefully there'll be a change of tactics over the break. Willing to bet that they planned to "bat normally until lunch, then see where we are" or something. Hoping for 60-80 runs in an hour, followed by the declaration.

Going to need some play tomorrow though.

So what do we reckon? Up the rate and declare 200 ahead by 3.15pm? It has to be more edifying than watching our middle order bolster their averages against this lot for the rest of the day.

IPL 1 & IPL 2 have been makng most of the mistakes, with the bat and in the field. That fat check or that fat ego must be the reason.
