Serena has just saved three match points against Zvonareva. She was down 2-5 (double break) in the third set.

She is unbelievable.

Will be huge if she gets up. 5-5 now.

Serena has a long way to go. Looks very sluggish on the court (as to be expected).

She was dead on her feet near the end. I think this match will do her some good, but for her to go deep into Wimbledon I reckon she'll need a decent draw. She still needs to get more matches under her belt, but at the same time won't want to play tough 3 setters like she just played during the actual 2 weeks, as her match fitness is obviously very low.

A few demolition wins early will send a scare throughout the locker room though.

Her and Venus returning adds much needed interest to this year's Wimbledon.

Nieminen gubbed at $1.01 by Gremelmayr after being up 5-2 in the third. Looks like roughly a million taken on Nieminen at under $1.20 and most of that at $1.01. One guy even had a sneaky 5 pounds on Gremelmayr at 170/1. Was it you Jono?

So good to see Erakovic back somewhere near her best. Quarters in Birmingham last week, and now tearing through the Wimbledon qualifying. Hope she's heading back for the top 40, where she belongs.
