True in more ways than one (apart from for anti-jinxing purposes). If they win, they unquestionably join the top teams in the world, and arguably become the No. 1. However, if they lose, they slide back into 3rd with both India and SA (who curiously enough, everyone has forgotten all about) well ahead of them. Obviously, if they draw, the status quo is maintained. They have it all to gain and lose.
