I doubt it. Bookies aren't charities. Looking at some Australian betting sites like Sportingbet or Sportsbet and England are shorter priced to beat Sri Lanka than odds available up here.

Sort of negates the patriotic punt theory.

I am merely saying putting up numbers from a british betting site isn't be and end all of determining who are the favorites.

considering it caters to a small population comparitively and may not exhibit the characteristics of diverse population.

Oh and one more thing. Cevno correctly stated beforehand that we were hammered in Perth.

We were written off by plenty of people after that. Australia had woken and were too good for us, etc etc.

You wanna know why they were crap in the two Tests after? Because of how good we were. You're talking about a batting line-up that features names like Ponting, Clarke, Watson, Hussey. Those ****s score runs for fun, but we bundled them out effortlessly. If you think that's because they aren't very good, cricket might not be the game for you, tbh.

and the only team in decades to get walloped. 5-0 too...

see mate, they get to play 5 tests in aus, no other nation gets to play that much. SA had a better win percent as compared to england in their redpective wins.

I made that point in relation to someone saying that India beating Australia in India 2-0 was not comprehensive while England beating Australia was.

Ultimately India also had a 100% record in that series.
England won matches more comprehensively but then lost one convincingly and drew one too. So the results i would say were pretty equal.

And in anycase comparing a 2 match series with a 5 one is unfair.

FMD, I've never put cash on Sree nor have I ever denied he is an epically **** bowler over the last two years. I've written a few long posts about his direness with the ball too. I don't think hand on heart that he deserved to be in the test team all through last year.

Liking someone does not equate to rating them.
