Some classics in here...Yeah, everyone talking about how our win in Oz was nothing special needs to ask themselves what their prediction was pre-series?
I was in a minority punting for England. Most neutrals thought the filth would take it comofrtably.
how does that mean anything?? I mean u are comparing figures from some betting site to another and proved what exactly?I doubt it. Bookies aren't charities. Looking at some Australian betting sites like Sportingbet or Sportsbet and England are shorter priced to beat Sri Lanka than odds available up here.
Sort of negates the patriotic punt theory.

and the only team in decades to get walloped. 5-0 too...I've also just read that we were the first touring side to win three Tests in Australia for 22 years. To dismiss that is...well decide for yourself.
You do understand what "favourites" means, yeah?how does that mean anything?? I mean u are comparing figures from some betting site to another and proved what exactly?
I am merely saying putting up numbers from a british betting site isn't be and end all of determining who are the favorites.
considering it caters to a small population comparitively and may not exhibit the characteristics of diverse population.
further, the. views of those guys aren't anymore credible or authoritative than that of bun or got spin here on this site.
betting sites dont determine who favorites are, as according to my understanding it says those who are favored to triumph by most. You do understand what "favourites" means, yeah?
&, whilst their views aren't necessarily gospel, they are prepared to back their words with cash & opinions don't get more credible than that.
This isn't getting noticeably more coherentbetting sites dont determine who favorites are, as according to my understanding it says those who are favored to triumph by most.
FMD, I've never put cash on Sree nor have I ever denied he is an epically **** bowler over the last two years. I've written a few long posts about his direness with the ball too. I don't think hand on heart that he deserved to be in the test team all through last year.love to know how them preparing to spend their cash would make them any more knowledgeable or researched in their backing of some teams. see teja and his sree love for example
Yeah, I think my work is done here.betting sites dont determine who favorites are, as according to my understanding it says those who are favored to triumph by most.

You better not have put Money on your other predictions in recent times though.FMD, I've never put cash on Sree nor have I ever denied he is an epically **** bowler over the last two years. Liking someone does not equate to rating them.
Haha sorry that doeesnt come out as I intended to. I meant the definition of favorites is 'favored by most', and not by some select groups like betting agents. This isn't getting noticeably more coherent
