oh yeah, I think i'd prefer raina over badri if the latter is in poo form like this.2 spots are up for grabs between Kohli,Raina and Badri.
somehow I am liking this bit of fight put by windies. making it look like a competition now.

Raina to score big runs in Windies and get selected in the test team in England atleast for the Lords test.I wouldn't be surprised to see Raina score runs on these wickets TBH. Will struggle a bit against pace bowling, but Badrinath didn't exactly do his reputation any favours either.
Will try to find some hlights. But even in IPL or in ODIs when he's played the odd substantial knock, he seemed to lack the touch and class required at the top level.Get Neo Cricket if its available to you on TV and watch his FC knocks. Definitely test class.
Why isn't Pujara on this tour? It's not like he needed a rest. Pretty odd decision IMO.Raina to score big runs in Windies and get selected in the test team in England atleast for the Lords test.
Bloody hope not!!!!
Poor Pujara missing out this tour will end up costing him.
Well, TBF we can't look too far ahead. The team should always be picked with a view to win the next game. If Raina scores runs, I'll be pleased for him because I really like the guy and the attitude he brings to the team, even though he struggles badly against short-pitched bowling. It will certainly make it very tricky for the England tour though.Raina to score big runs in Windies and get selected in the test team in England atleast for the Lords test.

Injured his Knee in the IPL IIRC.Why isn't Pujara on this tour? It's not like he needed a rest. Pretty odd decision IMO.

Hmm.. I would certainly describe him as a touch batsman if anything. Definitely not one who relies on power at all, that is the weakest part of his game. When he is batting well, he's really good to watch through the offside, though sometimes he overdoes the "backing away and creating room" thing. Will try to find some hlights. I meant 'touch' in sense of fluency. He's very similiar to Kaif in that both have very stodgy batting styles.Hmm.. I would certainly describe him as a touch batsman if anything. Kohli or Badrinath will ton up today. Calling it early.
He's still a terrible batsman, which is what the majority of his critics have been saying. Don't think I've seen many having a go at his keeping.Baugh!!
Love him. Knew he'd come good. Baugh > haters on CW (and there were some).
EDIT: looks like he's in but it was awesome work anyway.
Nahhhhh.He's still a terrible batsman
Fair enough. The best he's ever looked to me was in his debut knock in SL against Murali and Mendis.I see what you are saying, and it's entirely understandable to get that impression from what he has shown in this series. I've only watched him properly in the IPL, where he played some very good and assured-looking knocks even when everyone else around him was struggling.
