Other Indian sports are a different planet compared to cricket.. Just a shame people can't realize that.
Forgetting that how cricketers are almost always under Z grade security, being the prime terrorist targets after the heads of state.

You were actually serious? You only became a convert after it helped Sachin with an LBW?

Jesus Christ, thought you were kidding. Makes your opinions worthless on this issue.
Lets see. My opinions on the issue are worthless because I agree that udrs is a good thing now? Makes sense. I was never blindly 100% against it before, was sitting on the fence as far as the udrs was concerned and argued both for and against it at times when I saw good points raised from either side. Unlike your condescending self who doesn't even want to consider the possibly that there could be a flaw in the system. Quit being an A grade a-hole.

Disappointing but not exactly surprising although one might have hoped that the WC semi-final would have changed a few minds at the BCCI. I think the pro-UDRS cricket boards need to keep bringing this up at the ICC level and propose a rule that UDRS has to be used in every test series without exception. Eventually the BCCI will cave.

Rules ought to be that the UDRS shouldn't be used only if both boards object. If the ICC support it as a whole, that's the position they should adopt.

This picture is my finest addition to the forum by some distance.
And yet you were beaten to it by 40 minutes :p

Can't wait for a dodgy decision given against India, they won't have a leg to stand on as far as complaining is concerned as they are the tossers who have vetoed this advance in the game.

Don't you just love Cricinfo article comments...:

If Indian cricketers are opposed to UDRS, it is because no other team has faced the strong bias that permeates ICC against Indian cricket. To expect that, after being at the receiving end of Australian English bias for decades, the Indians will willingly accept a suspect technology that can be programmed to give wrong results is absurd.
Good on ya, rkannancrown

Is there another major sport where the playing conditions can be dictated to by the participants to this extent? ICC needs to HTFU and soon. Either international cricket has UDRS or it makes like FIFA and closes its eyes, put its hands over its ears and goes "lalalalalala" whenever anyone mentions technology. It can't have both.

When Tendulkar, in the second innings at Lords, gets given out wrongly when he is on 97 it will be a shame. :) He would have to wait 4 years for his next attempt to get on the Honours Board.

When Tendulkar, in the second innings at Lords, DOES NOT get given out for a plumb LBW when he is on 97 it will be a shame. :)
Fixed.

I remember him getting poor decisions on the last tour, so it will balance out this time around.

don't think he will be over excited to make it to one populated by, inter alia, ajit agarkar and the likes.

Yeah that honours board is a complete joke and disgrace to cricket.

Tendulkar should have his own board

I'd respect your opinion more if you stuck to your guns about your view on UDRS and didn't change your view because it helped India out in a semi-final of the World Cup.

I find Sanz' view against the UDRS more legitimate than yours. Whether it helps or hindered India in the World Cup, he finds the system bad. I find it good, but at least I know what his view is. What is your view? I used to be slightly against it but it helped my team so yay, I'm for the UDRS now?

It compromises the credibility of your view on this issue. How can you not see that?

No need to over amplify what I said and twist it to something I never intended to say.

I want Tendulkar to score his 100th 100 there, being the most famous ground in the world and with such history attached to it. I was merely making a joke.

If he wants it, and somehow doesn't make it, I hope it makes him stay for another 4 more years ;)
