Sad news.
But the overreactions here are over the top. Certainly cricket existed without UDRS for all but what 4 years of history? People are ridiculing and cursing as if BCCI just committed murder of cricket. Chill fellas, it's only a minor irritant, i promise ya this is gonna be one hell of a series

the thing that pisses me off is not how they just refuse to accept it but it's how they reacted at Bucknor-gate and when ICC offers them a perfectly workable solution they just piss all over it.Would not mind seeing couple of important decisions going against them.

Just to clarify the Bucknor situation in 2008 was not only down to that one test and decisions alone but also due to other factors .
That was just the final straw that broke the came's back with regards to Bucknor,as the feeling was build for over a decade. He probably would have screwed over with UDRS too ,but certainly would have made it more difficult for him.

There is not much we can say really. England wanted to use DRS but the BCCI did not. As you know, for the system to be used both sides must be in agreement.
Still, it should be a brilliant series.

Yeah got the same response. Before atleast it was merely the BCCI opposing it but now there's a sense of finality to the issue.
