never managed to get particularly fond of vaughan's smug mug, especially during those heady days of thirdpersonitis.

As a compromise I propose that we use UDRS but don't allow India any reviews.

That way, everybody's happy.

Can we turn around and tell them to shove it, or is that it, then?

It's ****ing pathetic.

Won't happen until the BCCI get their head out of their arse.

Absolute ****s. **** them.

I can only hope it comes back to bite them and they are on the end of some huge howlers, then we'll see how much they don't want it. ICC should get a back bone and make it compulsory.
Interesting stat about DRS, Graeme Swann has 29.71% of his 138 Test wickets coming via lbw decisions, the highest proportion for an offspinner in Test history.

It's ECB's call in the End,i would think.

BCCI did not want the UDRS at the World cup too.

Edit- Does not seem so from that article above.

Just sent the ECB this:

Hi,

I have seen reports that the BCCI (tossers) are trying to prevent UDRS being used in this summer's Eng-Ind series.

Can I expect my board to grow a spine and stand up to these neanderthal bullies or we gonna bend over and take their crap?

One of the great series of the past few years is on the cards and this could be a huge blemish.

Thanks
Martyn Corrin

WC is a ICC event, they can overrule. Not sure in this case, though they ****ing well should.

They will demand the umpire is sacked, have a winge and threaten to go home.

I would have thought it would be the Home board's call as they would be footing the bill, but does not seem so from the above link.

Should be though,really.

I vote all those in favour of UDRS spam the BCCI with offers from the Bank of Nigeria until they give in.

Wish they were the PCB. They'd give us their online banking password. Imagine what we could do with all that money...
