Good to see England reverting to type after their attack's fluking the Ashes last summer.
Has enough natural gifts for his really good balls to be genuinely wicket taking in their own right, tbf. Anyway, us Aussies should used to dross picking up wickets at very regular intervals...Don't really know where I stand with Finn. I watch him bowl and what he sends down doesn't seem quite Test standard yet - not for such a good team anyway - but he keeps taking wickets. I keep thinking sanity will prevail and it'll just stop, but even when he's sending down some real crap like here and in Australia he keeps taking 'em... there's something to letting the game itself do the analysis.
When was the last time he looked anything else outside of his nation against bowlers with some bounce and movement.Sameraweera looks village out there
Yup.Sameraweera looks village out there
Him and Sreesanth are quite simillar both bowl a lot of rubbish but bowl enough wicket taking balls that they are able to end up with decent hauls.Don't really know where I stand with Finn. Don't think he's similar to Sreesanth at all tbh.Him and Sreesanth are quite simillar both bowl a lot of rubbish but bowl enough wicket taking balls that they are able to end up with decent hauls.
Is a victim of black magic tbf.Yup.
Fully aware I'm probably cueing him up for a ton, but I don't think I've ever seen a chap who averages 50+ over such a long period look so meh. & it seems to be whenever I've seen him too.
That 246 against India at Leeds, 1967 was both innovative and progressive!Boycott championing innovative, progressive ideas in cricket (on TMS now)? How odd.
