Mind boggles with KP, watched his 'Special Report' on SSN and he spoke of how he loves playing cricket and wants to do it for as long as he possibly can. Well show it then ffs.

Have England forgotten how to bat? Play straight!

EDIT: Although Strauss does seem to have a serious problem with left arm bowlers now. Zaheer to have another bunny?

Might be a good idea to play straight at the start of your innings when your captain thinks there's some movement out there. Not that I'd want to be too harsh on Trott all things considered. Strauss is another matter though - that looked like a poor shot to me. And KP just looks totally buggered afaics. Once upon a time he'd have seen off the crisis and rescued the innings: not nowadays though. Perhaps a career in 'Hello' magazine beckons.
England guilty atm of the very attitude that led to Lanka's collapse on the 5th day.

Probably will still score 400+ though.

Lakmal is getting late swing and KP wants to feel ball on bat. The dismissal was excusable, I feel.

I know cherry-picking innings isn't always fair, but if you ignore the 200 at Adelaide, KP has averaged 25 over 12 matches since the beginning of last summer. Considering his ODI form has been even more woeful, he's surely on thin ice.

Monty Panesar will play for England before KP is dropped
