that said must admit we've never been the kind who pummels the opposition, but somehow just about manages to the right things and win. that is perhaps why we never can expect to have that aussie kind of aura regardless of how many points lead we have in the icc points table.

that said, i'd gladly take that anyday.

About being spooked only this tremlett guy makes me uneasy because of the bounce he generates,we were always a little susceptible to bounce than swing.
Anderson i don't really fear that much with our batting,we survived steyn and with what he was swinging[legspinners at 145]we can handle andyboy.
Swann is our best friend.He'll be our runbank this summer.

I'm more concerened about the english top 4,all bloody good grafters and we traditionally struggle vs grafters.[kallis,martyn,amla,younis]

Anyway this series will be epic.
Especially with botham's continous hyperbole.And before that anderson,gough,swann all giving the impression they just have to show up and whitewash us.

No, did mean the declaration. Most of us in the thread at the time seemed to be caught on the hop. Pickup, Spark & I all passed comment IIRC.

Think a few overs of slogging and a lead of 150+ was the consensus.

Anderson and Swann never said anything like that. Don't try and make that too big an issue mate. The series has enough hype as is.
