Pretty courageous effort from the Western Force tonight against the Hurricanes, ran out of steam in the final 20 minutes but until that point they were clearly the more competitive of the two sides. Would've summed up the Hurricanes' season if they'd lost TBH considering the Force were without their best player (O'Connor) amongst others and have a terrible record in New Zealand.

7 minutes to go Stormers up by 13. Ref has been against them during the 2nd half. Maybe the crowd is influencing him. As i type this he just let another knock on go.

have placed a $20 bet on the Crusaders for tomorrow. Looking forward to the game.

edit the Brumbies just had 32 phases inside the Stormers 22 and couldn't score.

Brumbies didn't even look like scoring despite those 32 phases in the final 5 minutes - they're a shadow of the Brumbies of old and its a shame to see a side that used to be so competitive turn in such disappointing performances.

Glad I watched the Highlanders vs Lions game earlier, second half was really good viewing. Stuffs the Highlanders' chances so the Lions have certainly done the Sharks, Waratahs and Bulls a favour. Bit of a punch-up too, Piutau should get a couple of weeks off for punching and the Lions flanker who flipped him over and could've done some damage on another day should get a much longer suspension.

Sure will be. I hear they're expecting a huge crowd in Brisbane, and rightly so given the importance of the match and the quality of the two sides.

Watching the game, and it's half-time.

This ref is a joke, can't believe how everything is going the Reds way, and he misses all the knock-ons/infringements by them as well as the try which wasn't. The chat between him and McCaw right on half time pretty much said it all.

Why ever happened to neutral refs for Super Rugby?

Best post I have read from you. Yeah it seems like the home team always gets better calls from the ref.

The Cantabs half back Heinz is having a very up and down game. A few errors here and there mixed in with some very reliable play.

Reds looking more likely with ball in hand that the cRusaders. Which makes it a mystery why Carter wanted to kick for position a short time ago. 4 plays later it was a try.

Cmon Cantabs my $20 is feeling nervous.

Also SBW has been neutralised in this game.

Been a good game though, tbf.

Delicious irony in Richie McCaw bitching over refereeing not going his way.

What an absolute joke, had to happen and right on full time. 2 tries from the Reds when neither were a try (forward pass for the 1st, and the knock-on that lead to the 2nd) along with a penalty count that seemed amount 200 to 1.

Crusaders well and truly played the better rugby in that match, and didn't get what they deserved.

That happens in rugby all the time James. Fmd there was a Super 15 game this year where one side scored four tries to one (4 to 1 ffs!!!) and got beaten.
