I am in Ireland this week. But the matches are in Belfast, not Dublin :( Else would've loved to catch the game on 28th to see how Irish people are receiving Cricket post their WC performance.

BTW, do Northern and Southern Ireland both together make up the Irish Cricket team?

Maybe but cricket in the south is just as good if not better. No NCU winners of the Irish cup in the last 10 years and only 2 North West winners. The rest are all from the south.

Oh, i was always under the impression the southern provinces relied a lot more on their imports than the north. I'm probably wrong.

When you put it that way you are absolutely correct. There are more imports playing in the South but still some very good local cricketers.

It seems as strong as ever if not stronger, a lot of the Irish fans are really happy with the Indian fans and the Pakistan fans and cricket fans in general in the way they have voted for Ireland to get a chance in 2015, it really makes you feel warm inside :),

and as Turn said, it shows how far we have come that county players have been released to play for Ireland, and it's a big blow about Niall but it goves McD a chance now, and Wilson is impressing me everytime I see him with the bat and I hope he is also good with the gloves,

so McD to come in at four?, or is he likely to go further down the order?, as the top three is set in stone imo...

Not looking too good from what I hear. Not at the game as I have exams but where I am it is dry and there has been no rain and 20 miles down the road it seems to be pouring. Was scheduled for a 1pm start - 43 overs then 41 over start at 1.50 but rain back on I think.

White and Jones playing ahead of VDM and McDonnell. Groan. Although to be fair I know next to nothing about McDonnell so he might not be better than White; I'd just really like to see someone else as White looks absolutely dreadful at this level.
