Tempting to suggest the absence of Mortimer and increased involvement of Hayne. He doesn't regularly play behind a pack that's blowing the opposition off the park too.

Poor Sharkies. I have little love for any other NRL side, but you really gotta feel for them sometimes.

It is still pretty funny looking across the NRL at players like Albert Kelly and Trent Hodkinson who were given the ass from Parra to keep Mortimer.

I still love thinking about Canterbury's ingenious ploy to feign interest in Mortimer so they could drive his price through the roof and then pick up their real target, Kris Keating, from right under Parramatta's nose at half the price.

Haha serious? Sounds like a good move.

**** I've been disappointed in Mortimer though. I thought he was gonna be good when I first saw him.

What makes it even funnier is that Keating's a bit of an overrated myth himself.

Mortimer is still a kid tbf.

Could see him developing into a useful nine tbh. His defense is decent and will get stronger (it isn't great by any stretch); has a good passing and kicking game, and is explosive off the mark.

Worth a thought i think, long term anyway.

Phil Gould, the NSW godfather of Origin, when he was coach his final instructions to his chargers before they ran out....think of someone you hate!

It should be a beauty tonight.
