'Official' Pakistan in West Indies

Simmons out for a brainless duck....

Brathwaite just doesn't look ready for Test cricket yet. He needs at least another season in FC cricket, because he has some technical deficiencies that the Indians would eat for breakfast.

Sorry, but we need Gayle and Barath back opening the batting, if we're to stand any chance against India....

Salman will have to play the innings of his life in the 2nd dig to make up for the four byes he just conceded. :p
I don't care who the keeper is just please don't bring back Kami Khatmal........even if it means not bringing back Addu Khatmal

And Ashocker's now fielding for Pakistan. At least he's of some use out there.

I just love watching Ajmal bowl. He's a class act imho, although his stats may not reflect that just at the moment. Also, as an offspinner who spins the ball both ways with an apparently completely straight arm, he's a one-off.

He's much more than an opener who bowls some handy off-spin. Tbh, I wasn't very pleased with the way Misbah used him in the Providence. Hafeez was taken off as soon as he got Devon Smith out.

He's a genuine wicket-taking option and this Ajmal-Hafeez-Rehman trio must be used effectively. It's a very potent spin attack and they complement each other very well.

Edit: Wow, they are plummeting. Rehman gets one and this spin attack is starting to bite!

Rehman gets Baugh. Pakistan's spinners have been awesome today. They've given us a huge edge. How valuable does that last wicket partnership look now?

Sorry, just seen the doosra in slo mo and I'd like to retract that.

Judging from what I've read and seen, it is near impossible to flick out a doosra with a ram-rod straight arm.

Maybe, Bedi has a point when he says what he says.

Especially the way Saqlain invented and later Murali-Harbhajan-Ajmal et. al. have followed it, there seems to be a distinctive pattern. Each one of them bowls it in pretty much the same way and the wrist rotation seems to be the key.The way the elbow leads could be slightly different for different bowlers and apparently that's the problem. Let's just say it is more conspicuous in some cases.

Not sure if any bowler has attempted something which is biomechanically different so far.

More on doosra:
See this. I am hardly an expert on spin bowling so would be curious to hear more knowledgeable opinions.
