Sounds like Mark Harvey is back into 'make excuses to avoid scrutiny' mode.
After bizarrely whinging about West Coast's very late replacements on the weekend (bizarre considering it was Kerr and Embley out for Sheppard and Gaff and they got beaten by over 5 goals anyway), now he is claiming he only has 25 fit players to choose from.
Well, they've got 39 on the main list and 14 injured players, and two of their rookies are included in that number, so that's 27 from the main list plus the 5 fit rookies. Two of those are already upgraded and playing, incidentally. Also, three of the players on the injury list are listed as 'test', which is potentially three more fit players to choose from. So the way I see it, they have at least 32 to choose from, and with a bit of luck, 35.
Gets a few people off your back when you manipulate the numbers though. He's back to the Mark Harvey of 2008.
