**Official** Sri Lanka in England / Scotland - 2011

23 degrees hot in May? England must be colder than I first thought.

Heck 23 degrees wouldn't be considered a heatwave in Sydney and it's nearing Winter rather than Summer.
Western Europe and the UK is not exactly a place known for its beautiful summers. In the Rhineland area of western Germany, it is 11 degrees Celsius today and has been cloudy all week.

23 degrees with sunshine is a blesssing from heaven for us!

All I want from this series is Sanga, Trott and Samaraweera and Tremmers doing well and Anderson, KP and Swann being slaughtered

He's been playing here for Somerset and bowling like arse fluid all season.
Disappointed to hear that. :-O I always had a fairly high opinion of his ability. Crests and troughs aren't strangers in a spin bowler's career, so hopefully he would find his bowling rhythm soon.

Lions match is underway in Derby. Sri Lanka are bowling first with an attack of Pradeep, Perera, Fernando and Randiv.

The Lions have left out Briggs to go with a 4-man pace attack, so it must be a seamer's wicket. Taylor, interestingly, is opening.

Hey, another continental!

Can't really complain about this spring though? Has been pretty good in Netherlands at least from what I hear.

In the cricket, Jimmy Adams makes his first-class average of 38 proud as he's clean bowled by Thisara Perera for 4.

I don't recall him ever opening for Leics. Bats at four in the CC and comes in at three for the one-day stuff.

If Chandimal gets some quality time in the middle, will go after Swann. He has said that he will. This is the man who taken Murali to the cleaners about an year back, as well as all the top SL spinners when ever they met. Swann on other hand knows to bowl to batsmen when they keep coming at him. Sam will be un-noticable in the way he play spin, but scores a ****load of runs off spinners. Looking forwards the Swann vs Chandimal and Swann vs Sam battle, which will demonstrate two enirely different aspects of spin bowling and playing it.

Haha that has nothing to do with cricket though. Made my views on matters like this crystal clear, won't go into it further.
