It seems like both these team are competing for who can screw up more, KXIP are dropping catches, misfielding and MI are finding weird ways to get out

The fielding standards have been pathetic overall. RR's display yesterday and Deccan Chargers today were just lolworthy. MI are actually one of the better fielding sides in the tournament, and they were shown up to be appalling compared to the other teams in the CL T20 last year.

There is no evidence as yet that your team is good enough to win without cheating. Last year, it was in the appointment of umpires. This year it is in pitch selection. So how do you convince anyone that Chennai would have won anything if things were not being fixed in their favour?
We must accept the ground reality and understand that Chennai is the power center. :)

This pitch debate absolutely doesn't make any sense to me. So the argument is if the pitch were slow Rajasthan were to win the game? Does not make sense at all. Chennai has 3 good spinners in the side. This is just blown out of proportion. Rajasthan just weren't good enough on the day. Get over it Warney.

It's been wierd actually.

In some games the standard has been brilliant and in some very poor.

Don't think it has been pathetic, imo.

Missing the point completely. It's not about whether the pitch made a difference to the result, it's about corruption and the fact that RR were not allowed their natural right to choose their home-ground pitch to their choosing, but rather may have been ordered to by a higher up in the administration who just happens to have strong links to the other team. It's basically rigging the match.

I read a newspaper article today which quoted some BCCI official as saying that none of the teams get a choice as to which pitch they are supposed to play on. It is decided by the curators. The BCCI had sent a directive to all the curators that all the pitches should have good pace and bounce. Wherever this directive has been violated, they have asked the curators to change the nature of the pitch.

I don't see the point of this. Part of the whole home advantage business is having a pitch that works for your team. Moreover pitches with the same nature everywhere? Dreadful... I love uneven pitches.. Batsmen scoring at less than run a ball in T20 is beautiful.

Rahane was looking good today too.

Played a couple of lovely shots and made a 17 off 10 balls.

Then Botha proceeded to run him out , and got out scoring a slow 19 off 20 balls till the 17th over.
WAC!!!!!

Dravid. Bat like this in England you legend!

Also, whenever I watch Langeveldt I always wonder why he never got picked more often for SA. Scary to think he could be better than any Indian quick bar Zaheer ATM.

The more i see Gayle playing like this, deeper the frustration of not been able to see him WI colors. Massive loss. Stupid selectors and their egos.
