Yeah, I see your point. Could always reduce the threshold the next time in my example though.

For example - 1st ban - 15 points (1 week)
2nd ban - 12 points (month)
3rd ban - 10 points (3 months)
Etc

I'm not sure the system supports something like that - it would have to be kept track of and done manually. Though Prince EWS can comment on that specifically.

Would a possible solution be to stop people from being able to register from behind a masked IP? Perhaps once they've been on the site for a while a masked IP wouldn't be an issue, but the one in a million legitimate poster that it would actually drive away might be a reasonable price to pay to keep scum like that away.

I thought part of the problem was this person couldn't be banned because they were masking their IP somehow? I know I used to use certain third party programs for this when I wanted to get around region locking for particular online games. Is it possible to only allow account creation for people that aren't using this process or one similar to it?

May not be possible, just a thought.
