May I humbly suggest something? This person is an attention starving **** and is obviously looking to read about themselves. If everyone would just report the VM’s and ignore him/her, I can guarantee you they will go away.

He/she will keep trying to get a reaction. At first it will be persistent, but eventually the dog will stop barking if you ignore it.

Edit: We just ask that you report the VM's quitely so we know another multi has popped up and we'll take care of it.

You sure about that? Thought all mods had the ability to trace the IP from where a post came from - it's how I caught out that **** Bruce Campbell and his 7,000 multis.

Doesn't mean they can find out where it is. If they are using a dial up modem, the IP changes every time IIRC.

Trust me, if there was a way of tracking them via IP addresses, Cribb would have done it days ago.

The expiration of infraction points seems a bit odd to me. Basically you could be a consistent **** over a long period, specifically waiting out some infractions before going for more dire posting? I'd make the infractions last longer. If anyone is doing it specifically for the trollz they will either get bored with having to wait out expirations or just do it all at once and get banned sooner.

They double in length if its an offence you've committed before. I have some that I think will be there until August and I think Furball might have some that don't expire until next year.

Given that the handing out of infractions has been completely and utterly ******** (see sledger's in the Footy thread when everyone knows Cevno was trolling) then I think that's quite long enough.

It's not a big deal, we all wind each other up in there but some of us aren't little girls about it who hit the report button as soon as they get called out for their ****. And the lack of contextual awareness from the mods in that situation was completely laughable.

I can categorically state that I have spoken to quite a few people who post regularly in that thread and they all pretty much think it should have been left alone. Cevno looked for a reaction and got one, nothing to see. But the mods storm into the thread swinging their dicks and give an infraction. ********. It's always telling when mods don't follow in a thread and this is one such example.

I got an 8 point infraction and it expires next month, while my 5 point infraction doesn't expire until August

I've clearly covered off that in my post. But obviously when you're euphoric after a HUGE victory for your team, you should be completely emotionless! The whole thing was a non-issue and is a shining example of when mods ignore context.

I would say if you are going to be a bad loser then expect a small bit of comeback.

Just to make it clear, I have no opinion on whether Sledger should have been infracted. That's the mods' call, obviously. I responded because you made it sound as though Cevno was the villain of the piece for having the temerity to get abused.
