Exactly what is it, that Swanny said could get the Indian team fired up, for most of his interview he talks about Fletcher and the fact he doesn't know quite a few of England's players and if he formulates plans on the old England team, he may come a cropper, then he moves on, to when he was fist picked, then dropped by him.Swann and gough's comments are perfect for india ahead of the test series ...i hope anderson or some of the new pacers come up with statements that they are going to roll up the indian batting line with ease.....

why wouldn't he back is team to win, he shouldn't be playing if he doesn't think that, he doesn't go OTT and say they're going to smash them 4-0 or such things like that.

It's a non-issue. For one, it's just media garbage. For another, every player should back their team to win. What should Graeme Swann say? "Yeah, India are going to smash us four-nil in our own backyard", or "we're going to let Tendulkar score his hundredth hundred"? Jeez! Even if he did make a four-zero prediction or whatever (I know he didn't), nothing wrong with it. It's called playing mind games with the opposition.
