Marsh never looked comfortable.. Is he suitable for the T20 format? Never seen him play before this.

Is it my memory playing tricks on me or did these two teams only play a couple of days back? **** scheduling once again. BTW, all these IPL matches are starting to merge into one big random T20 game in my head now. The public must be getting pretty saturated by this stage.

Haha yeah I'm feelin the same thing. Have no idea if a team is good or **** now except for knowing Mumbai win most of the time.

Hopefully ratings take a hit and they shorten it next year.

They simply have to get rid of this ridiculously long league stage with everyone playing everyone home and away. It was bad enough with 8 teams but just moronic when you have 10. None of these games really mean much, and T20's inherent randomness just makes it worse. Just split it into 2 groups with each team playing everyone else in their group once, or something FFS.

90 league games before we get down to the business end of the tournament. FFS.

Actually, they can keep the home and away games, and still end up with a much shorter tournament if they split it into 2 groups of 5 each (40 group games + 4 knockouts, assuming 2 qualify from each group). Exponential nature of factorials and all that.

Will never understand why we played Ojha in tests when we had Murali Kartik who has ****loads of county/FC experience. Could be useful for another 4-5 years if we start playing him in tests now.

Nah groups aren't the way to go imo. I'd be pissed off if there was no situation where I could see Warne bowling to Sachin for example, assuming they didnt make the knockouts. (and even if they did, played against each other)

It simply has to happen at some stage. You can't just keep adding teams indefinitely. I look forward to Warne vs. Sachin as much as anyone else, but we can live without it if the format cuts down the tournament duration to 4-5 weeks, which is the ideal length. It's just 4 overs anyway (insert girl kissing you and asking you to leave analogy), and Tendulkar might not even last long enough to face Warne.

Badrinath impresses me so much whenever I watch him. You keep thinking he'll miss one when he backs away to make room but he always connects. So good to watch.

Excellent. The pick of the bowlers in this game (haven't watched all of it, though). Bowling with good rhythm and using the bouncer very effectively and intelligently.
Should be back in the West Indian team ahead of Sammy I reckon. Roach, Taylor and Russell sounds like a fearsome combination.
