I know you said you're posting from your phone, but how is 'wuz' any easier to type than 'was'? :p
I don't understand the excuse people give for using txt spk saying they are posting from a phone. Even if you don't have a smartphone or a QWERTY keypad (in which case I'd question what you are even doing browsing an internet forum on such a low-end phone :p), there is always the predictive text feature. I pride myself on always sending text messages that are grammatically and syntactically correct, and properly spelled.

Fielding isn't that bad in the IPL, though beyond a few young Indian domestic bats there is a huge gulf between the international players and the locals.

Vast improvement to what it was in IPL1 though.

It frustrates me to hell when i see Rohit does this in ipl and flops in India's uniform. The guy with such wonderful talent. Hopefully he is gonna cement his place in the Indian side when he gets another chance. Too good a player to miss out.

Nah, it's pretty awful on the whole, even considering that it's a domestic tourney.

I would say the Indian players are outperforming the internationals on the whole, even taking into account the inexperienced youngsters (which they should be doing, as they are the ones trying to catch everyone's eye and put their hands up for selection). The most consistent teams always have a good core of Indian players that deliver on a regular basis.

We're talking fielding though.

The fielding standard of the average Indian Player has come on Leaps and Bounds in the last 10 years or so.
The improvement in the outfields has contributed to a large deal and so has the general trend towards fitness in the youth these days.

Indian catching was always among the best.

Haha, we're talking of Indians here. :p Goes without saying they'd be worse on average.

Agree with Cevno that India are doing OK in the catching department though.
