Punjab started off too cautiously. They only had twenty-five after the first four overs when they should have had at least fifty. That said, 230 plus was always going to be very difficult.

Woo, just saw the score card. PK 4-0-45-1 and Harris 4-0-48-0.

If one hadn't seen these two guys bowl before, saying that they aren't of international quality would be putting it mildly.
Praveen bowled horribly pretty much from the getgo. He had to have a bad match at some point. His accuracy was all over the shop

I was very disappointed in Harris' last over, he went into Brett Lee 'slot' mode where, as Lee can do sometimes, he just bowled half-volley after half-volley. I suppose he was trying for yorkers and missing out.

Horrible from the pair of them.

Very impressed with Shaun Marsh though. The only time he lost his shape was when he got out. Beautiful batting, he just needed someone having a go at the other end.

Can we please have Shaun Marsh in the Aus t20 team? They are prepared to stick with some regulars who do nothing for series on end in all the formats, but won't give him a proper run in the format he is best at.

Personally dont think Harris was that bad for most of it. Just got a bit of stick when Marsh was going after it. Bit of a license to hit when you're chasing a total that big.

Whatever it takes!!!
Can't believe the quality in that RCB batting lineup:

Dilshan
Gayle
Kohli
ABDV
Tiwary
Pujara...

Man.. that is an awesome line up.

Modern bats, eh? Thought that was out for all money but it just kept going.
Not so much the bats-blame the boundaries. Could've been a good 5 metres further out there.

Anyway, big bats carry their own disadvantages. It's a trade-off between batspeed and bat-weight.

Not necessarily big bats, but modern bats. They're just vastly superior to what they were a few decades ago.

I'd have to disagree, based on my fairly limited knowledge of the subject. Bats really just have more wood on them these days, not a great deal more to it than that IMO. I'm no bat-expert though, could be very wrong there.

Really promising to see Ishant bowling over 140kph consistently. He's not bowling fantastically for this format, but back when he was a good Test bowler, he had that sort of speed.

I started doubting speed guns when I saw Munaf hit 145, Vinay Kumar hit 149 and most importantly, Zaheer hitting 170.1
