So the Windies are not really interested in winning a game.
You're missing an important point....Wide! West Indies don't deserve to win with this kind of effort.
Point taken, but some of the errors West Indies made in the field were worse than what you'd expect in school cricket. Like Jono said, the quality of this match was worse than even some of the IPL games. You're missing an important point....
As Jimmy Adams points out, this is a young team.
Hyatt, Barnwell and Nurse are practically 20/20 specialists. Three players were making their 20/20 debut.
Of this team, only Darren Bravo and darren Sammy are certain of a test place. And they beat a Pakistan side most of you expected to win easily....
Given that this team had quite a few names you didn't know, and that the Windies won, the talent pool isn't that dry, now, is it?Plenty of talent?Their talent pool has been dry for a while now.I don't live there, but i'm sure interest in the game as declined too significantly.
Sure, it's not the be-all and end-all....No offence Shivfan, but I think you're overreacting just a little after a solitary (and to be honest, meaningless) T20 win. Let's see what they do in the tests and ODIs.
Lol, from who?If Pakistan had won this match, I wouldn't be hearing that this was 'meaningless'. Rather, I'd be hearing how rubbish the Windies is, they've no talent, they can't even win a 20/20, etc.
Question : Over-reaction much? This is the worst international match that I can remember.
Horrible ground. Like a sandpit.
Empty stands for a T20 match.
Two absolutely horrible teams.
Misbah acting like a ****** and trodding on his stumps.
You have a player not knowing the friggin' rules, and trying to hit out thinking its a free hit when it's not.
Disgusting cricket. Won't be watching much of this series if this is the quality.
