Rebels 42-25 Hurricanes? Goodness me, thats an appalling result for the Canes. The Rebels have now played six matches, lost three of them by more than 28 points and yet beaten both the Brumbies and Hurricanes - bit of a nightmare to bank your predictions on... Credit to Social and Vimes for tipping them - I had the Canes 13+ on virtual rugby.

Wish I could credit my tipping of the Rebels on some in-depth analysis but the reality is that I'm sick of being sucked in my a bunch of pretenders who either dont turn up every week (e.g. Hurricanes and Blues), squander countless opportunities through indiscipline (e.g. Lions) or are just ****ing soft (e.g. Waratahs whom I only tipped because I hate the Brumbies)

In summary, it had **** all to do with anything remotely resembling analysis

BTW, have to admit that it was refreshing to see the Reds game played in bright sunlight

Much preferred it to a night game

Might be being a bit harsh on the Blues given they've made an excellent beginning to the season, though I can't disagree too much about your comments about the Canes and Tahs. Didn't see the Reds match though I also like watching rugby during the day, particularly in the sun. Sounded like another pretty comprehensive victory for the Reds.

SBW is such a beast of a player - 17 stone, quick, amazing skills and he's learning

Undoubtedly has the potential to be one of the best ever

Remarkable game and the Canes were 17 zip up after 20 as well. The Rebels are truly crap but the Canes are so unpredictable, even more-so than the Chiefs and both seem to go to pieces when the going gets tough.
