Our bowling attack now looks good as long as Harbhajan is kept clear of the new ball and Zaheer is saved overs for the 30 over point to use his reverse swing. I have faith that the powerplay batting will click sooner rather than later too.

Thing with Pathan is that he is failing to do what he is in the team for - late acceleration. With Yuvraj bowling so well, how many overs we need to get out of Raina or Pathan anyways? 3-4 at max. Might just be a good thing to include Raina who is more than a uni-dimensional batsman that Pathan is.

There's nothing to like about Benn at all. Become awful with the ball, and in the field and bat he is awkward and ugly. No one that tall should bowl spin anyway, particularly if you are from the West Indies.

Haha I'm not suggesting Ashwin shouldn't play. But I would like 3 seamers in the team at the same time. I wish Praveen Kumar wasn't injured.

Not based on that delivery. Based on the broader fact that through hook or crook, he is the more effective OD bowler. Despite his currently mediocre record, I think Dhoni will bowl him three to five overs per game and that he can do a better job in that role than the more experienced bowler in Yusuf. Also, Yusuf is out of form with the bat.

That is simply untrue. He varies his pace greatly and uses both off cutters and leg cutters to do this.
