Very happy to get Schalke. Shaktar for mine is a potential banana skin for Barcelona. If Shaktar can get a draw at the Nou Camp, going to the Ukraine is never an easy trip, so you never know.

And remember, Vamos Real Madrid!

Celtic vs. Rangers in the Carling Cup final tomorrow. The only way the losing players can avoid going up for their runners up medal in front of the winners is by getting sent off. Need to get in some popcorn..

Reina looking more and more likely to leave. :( Would be an unimaginably large loss. On a brighter note, Baines could be joining us. Yes please.

Haha, indeed. Meireles on the left is strange. Hopefully he gets some better ball in the second half.

Suarez already looks fed up with our kick and hope for the best style...
Got a little bit of genius in him Suarez class act. Him Gerrard & Meireless playing behind Carrol could be very good. You are always gonna get some hoofing with Carragher & Skrtel in the team though.

??? For the last two seasons Liverpool's midfield have long-balled it forward. Has nothing to do with Carragher and Skrtel. And I don't understand why Suarez would be playing behind anyone.

Really happy with those three points. Spearing went better than I thought he would. Johnson was even poorer than usual tonight though. Wouldn't mind him playing right midfield when we buy a left back in the off-season.

Nathan Patrick would like Manchester City to not play three defensive midfielders tonight. Also, injure Torres.

From what I have seen of Liverpool since Alonso left a lot of their attacks start with the defenders who tend to "hoof" the ball as they haven't used a midfield play maker to drop deep and get the ball.

On Suarez I thought it was accepted his best position is a free role playing in the hole behind an out an out striker although I must say I never saw him play for Ajax.
