Ireland and Bangladesh. no I think you will find we beat Ireland by 5 wickets and Bangladesh by 87 odd runs!
You tied with England though. Tell me, would India have been better off today being 5-120 through slogging? You know, to give the middle order a go?

My enjoyment of Amla's stroke play is severely compromised by the direness of his beard. Those wispy bits at the corners of his top lip look so naff and bumfluffy. Just shave down another half inch for Christ's sake.

Wants to look at Aamer Sohail or Mushie to see how it's done.

Jesus, why are some of our fans so pessimistic. Granted we ****** at the end of our innings, but this total will still take some getting. Have some faith in your team for God's sake.
The worrying thing for India is the pressure that will be on their batting in the knockout stages. They're lucky that this is a basically inconsequential match. But who knows how they will play the last 20 or so overs when it actually means something!

Tieing is not losing!
Actually no, if you read my posts earlier in this thread, I said we had to be sensible with our approach to this match! and not take them forgranted

I personally think we should have taken the power play when Sachin and Viru were smashing it all over the shop.

South Africa have the momentum but we are bowling well so far and its a slow deck, so we can certainly still win this contest.

So when Nehra bowls well, he averages 6 RPO. He is still there tells of India's fast bowling department.

Good pressure bowling by Khan. Had Smith frustrated for a while.
This is why 3 seamers is a good decision. Build pressure and get the RRR up.

They can't do much worse. :p

Look, you are absolutely right that the pressure will be on India's batting. It has been the case for a long time now, both in Tests and ODIs. It isn't going to change any time soon.

I'm still confident that India's middle order will deliver the goods in the upcoming matches. We just have to wait and see.
