Last time I saw batting like that at the end from NZ was vs USA 2004 at The 0val. Astle and McMillan looted 136 runs in 7 overs and 4 balls. Think this might be better though.

I thought the best bit of fielding was the 4 down the ground by Taylor where the fielder at long on didn't even bother trying to get across. Summed up the last few overs for me.

Yeah I agree. As good as the last four overs were, New Zealand's slow start means that this isn't a total out of Pakistan's reach. There were way too many dot balls at the beginning; Jamie How's innings didn't help either. Keeping in mind the pitch and New Zealand's attack, I reckon this is only slightly above par. One thing that ought to work in New Zealand's favour is that Pakistan will be mentally shot after those last few overs.

Hmm, didn't know about that. But that's still 17-18 runs per over. This was ****ing 23 runs per over in last 4 overs. Unheard of!
