Yuvraj is a burden on Yusuf at the moment. The match would have been over by now, but Yuvi wants his half century.

Now that is the kind of orgasmic shot that Yuvraj sometimes plays, that makes me feel he is a supremely gifted batsman.

Yuvraj 5 wickets and a 50. He may have run out Kohli, and he may be a ****, but that's impressive.

Especially since his wickets and runs actually meant something in this match.

See I told you. Yuvraj was just holding back Yusuf. Once he got his fifty, he told yusuf to hit it and finish the game.

Well we got across the line, but Ireland pushed us on three separate occasions. Their third wicket partnership, early on in our batting innings and then after Sachin and Kohli's wicket.

Played pretty well. Such good spirit in the team.

Fair play to Yusuf; man's a beast really.

All pretty comfortable in the end.

The Irish may not win this game as of now but they have proven that they belong here.
Quite so. Professional and competitive outfit, hard not to warm to them.

Just hope the ICC do the decent thing next time. Cutting all the associates loose is a mistake in terms of spreading the word, obvz.

If 14 teams too many, 10 is too few.

Get to listen to a Kohli interview. So good

When asked what he said to Sachin when Sachin asked about whether to review.

"I just told him it was hitting the stumps"

I enjoyed our place on the perch tbh :(

Lol. I read somewhere that the ICC will be discussing the next format soon? A ten team tournament would be a bigger farce than....Jono's existance?

Good job he doesn't post at CW or he'd have got five infraction points for that

Uppercut, Irish Opener and other Irish cricket fans, how are you feeling right now?

You must be damn proud of your team. Sure the Bangladesh loss must sting, and you'd have thought you could have got more runs tonight, but it must be damn good right now to be a true Irish cricket fan.

Hmmm to think if we had put another 20-30 runs on the board it could have made it a lot tighter but we will look to the West Indies and Holland for the two wins, and who knows South Africa after today ...

Also, any other Indian fan ****ting themself like I am now?

Really scared.
I was. Ireland's bowling was innocuous but damn, they made it tough. Very unconvincing performance from India that. Thankfully Rankin was poor and Pathan lifted the pressure with those sixes.

Incredible performance. You would have thought that this pitch was the worst possible for Ireland especially against a team like India.

What did I tell ya? Well, Dhoni is a **** so his dismissal doesn't count(), comfortable win in the end. I get the feeling I had when we played Zimbabwe in the late 90s with Ireland now. They make me uneasy as an opposition fan and they also have my respect now after these 2 games. Something I never felt for the Bangladesh side. Hope they become a force to reckon with eventually after a while.
