Looks even worse on the replay, really. Jayawardene is a joy to watch when he's going, but he's such a casual looking player.
He's too busy turning round to watch the fielder instead of getting his head, running in a straight line, and getting the other end as quick as he possibly can. No dive's crazy.

Looked like he was trying to get between fielder and the stumps.
Was always going to be difficult to achieve with the angle the ball was coming in at, was always going to be ahead of him. I agree that's probably what he was trying to do.

Looks plenty of spin in the pitch. Three spinners could be a shrewd selection if they get the runs on the board.

Well played Sanga. He makes batting look so easy. That slapped sweep shot last over was so well played. Crucial he makes 100 as the Sri Lankan depth is terrible.
