Wasn't expecting anything from the game TBH, so not going to complain. Heard Fergie aint too happy at some of the decisions, considering we were let off with a huge one at the weekend, shouldn't really kick off about it

True.

But Atkinson was disgraceful yesterday.

Terry handball was a penalty, then luis should have been off specially when he did the same to Vidic.

The referee had no bottle and was a homer .Even Graham Poll(the internal referee defender) agreed to it.

How come there weren't so many people who have been so vociferous over this moaning about Saturday. Credit to cpr for accepting it - these things do go both ways.

Yeah but it's still ****ing annoying when they go against us .

Well as Mike Phelan said on Saturday (since Taggart is amazingly still able to refuse to speak to the BBC) - "we can't dispute referee's decisions"
He missed "Until they go against us" off the end.

It was hilarious listening to the radio phone ins on Talk****e and Radio 5 after the game with all the Mancs whinging about the ref.

Unless I'm much mistaken the uproar from Saturday’s decision was bigger.

In any case, these things don't go both ways (not to the extent that they even out, anyway). For example, last season Chelsea had a 6 point swing over us relative to what the results should have been just from the two head to head games. They won the league by one point. I have absolutely no idea whether in the case of last season we had a six point swing over them across the other 36 games, but it doesn’t logically follow that we did. They do go both ways, but lots of people like to claim that decisions actually even out, which is gambler’s fallacy.

We were lucky as hole against everyone else last year to be fair. How many own goals did we end up with?

Yeah I'm making no comment as to whether we are lucky overall or unlucky, I merely used Chelsea vs us last year as an example as it was at the forefront of my mind. I'm just saying these things don't even out and the notion that they do pisses me off.

Nice to see Fergie take it all in the good grace we expect from a knight of the realm though. :)

Nice quiet derby north of the border again.

City are going to win the cup, Villa rolled over for them they have Reading in the quarters at home and they will be desperate for silverware and this will be easier to win i reckon than Europa Cup.

Absolutely ****ing pathetic refereeing. The referees in this country have been got at.

Bring on the League Cup Final. I want a war.

City are going to get beat in the FA Cup final by a last minute goal from a fresh from retirement Gary Neville, and Manchester shall rejoice, apart from 12 people near stockport.

Everyone in Northwich seems to support your lot.

Well, you and Liverpool.

As you can imagine, I just LOVE that.

Rumours around that Carroll will make his Reds debut vs the evil half of Manchester this Sunday.
